Covers a variety of perspectives and theories fairly well (could use more articles on realism by IR theorists such as Waltz, modern democratic peace theories like those by Christensen, and good decision-making theory work by theorists such as Allison). It does fall heavily short on decision-making theories that focus on bureaucratic models (hence a need for a theorist like Allison).

There are also a few articles that could be tossed out of this text such as Kenneth Roth's 'The Case for Universal Jurisdiction,' which was, IMO, very poorly cited and had an extremely weak argument to begin with. All in all, like the accompanying text, it is a bargain reader with good quality and diversity for its cost.

If you're reading this text for an upper-division IR course, you'll know you have a good professor when he or she forgoes some of the readings and supplements the text where it's lacking.
